Our Process
1. Connect with you
Most people find it hard to be completely open in front of strangers, let alone a stranger with a camera. As a photographer, it’s my job to make you feel at ease in your presence.
2. Plan and share
As your photographer and guide, I will work with you to generate ideas for locations, conceptualize the goals and themes of the shoot, and provide visual references through mood boards to help inspire the direction of the project.
3. Direct the action
In order to keep your lifestyle photos candid while still offering you some sort of guidance, I will tell you what to do instead of how to do it. For example, rather than direct them to follow some common family portrait ideas, I will ask you to show me your favorite game.
4. Deliver
I will provide you with a preview of the session within the first 72 hours, and then provide the entire gallery after one week.

How many pictures will we receive?
Every package will provide the amount of photos that you will get with the option of purchase more if you want.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
I'm often asked when is the best time to come in for a session. While I have lots of experience with babies from 5 days old up to 2 months old for a newborn session, my personal preference is around 12-14 days. Not to worry though! If you miss that window I can accommodate later as well. I do advise that you try to book as early as possible, and then we just adjust your session date as needed when baby comes.
What's the best time to have a maternity session?
Maternity sessions can be done earlier or later depending on how you are feeling, but I find 30-35 weeks to be the best timing. Before your session we will go over outfit choices and if you need a gown, location type and if they will be done in studio or on location, as well as anyone else who may be included in your session such as partners or children.
How should we dress for our family session?
Prior to the photoshoot I will provide with a board of suggestions based on colour and style.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
My aim is to create an environment that is not only comfortable but also enjoyable for you. I understand that meeting a stranger can be daunting, which is why I prioritize connecting with you and sharing experiences that help us build a rapport. By establishing a connection, I hope to ease any discomfort or nervousness you may be feeling, and make the experience as smooth and pleasant as possible.
Are the session packages include studio cost?
No, packages don't include studio cost or wardrobe.
